A local authority in Hampshire are seeking an experienced interim Asbestos Surveyor to join their team for a 6-month contract. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough asbestos surveys in accordance with current legislation and industry standards. Prepare detailed survey reports, including findings and recommendations for corrective actions. Liaise with stakeholders, including property owners, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure clear communication and compliance. Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload to meet project deadlines and targets. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to asbestos inspections and remediation efforts. Requirements: Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor, with relevant qualifications (P402, BOHS, etc.). Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within Hampshire as required.
