About the role This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but mighty team who are ensuring we serve the most relevant pages for our customers and holiday dreamers alike within the Google Search Results medium. We are looking for a new SEO Content Executive to help us maintain a high standard across our website content and provide regular updates to our top 1,000 pages covering holiday types, destinations and other discovery-based content to excite users planning their next jolly. Based within Marketing, the SEO Content Executive will report directly to the SEO Manager and will be responsible for delivering content updates to the website based on our editorial plan and reactive updates based on real-time analytical data. The ideal candidate will have a love for travel and experience in writing for the web with a keen understanding of how Google and other search engines work. Key Responsibilities Creating engaging copy that is optimised for SEO and drives traffic to site Executing Website updates based on our Editorial Calendar Optimising existing website copy to boost visibility and enhance user experience Using AI tools such as ChatGPT to craft prompts that will help to research, plan and execute new content Conducting keyword research to identify content gaps and other opportunities Competitor page & content analysis to keep us above the rest You'll be a great addition to our team if you have the following skills, knowledge and experience At least one year of experience in content writing and SEO Experience using Content Management Systems Proven ability to write engaging content that is both Google and human-friendly Creative thinker with the confidence to pitch new ideas to the wider team Well-organised and Proficient in MS software (Word, Excel) Writing within the travel sector is a bonus A basic understanding of SEO tools is a bonus Ways of working Our fulltime hours are 37.5 per week, but we don't have rigid working hours so you can find the working pattern that's right for you. We have core working hours between 10am - 4pm, so we can collaborate and enjoy the social side of work. We also have hybrid working where we work from our Aeroworks office in Manchester City Centre 2 days a week and 3 days from home. You are welcome in the office at any time however, so come in and collab.
