Our client is a specialist, premium brand supplier for print, post and e-delivery solutions, and is currently seeking a Scheduler to join its Operations team, with the primary aim of meeting product due dates and achieving maximum throughput from the production system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepares and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly processing schedules for a three-shift operation.
2. Liaising with Operations regarding scheduling conflicts or issues.
3. Demonstrating continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality.
4. Liaising with Client Services on inbound work.
5. Ensuring that staffing levels are sufficient for the workload on the working shift in conjunction with the Shift Manager.
6. Maximizing efficiency driven by the schedule in production ensuring expectations are achieved.
7. Constantly planning out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
8. Demand planning and forecasting, coordinating the demand forecast of all customers and sharing the forecast with all internal and external suppliers.
9. Resource planning, including current stock inventory and forecast demand, in collaboration with all suppliers.
10. Responding in real time to disruptions.
