Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Part-Time Residential Support Worker: Your job role will involve you working closely with children in care with you putting them at the centre of everything you do. Your day-to-day role will require you to support them in all aspects of their lives such as educational pursuits, hobbies, and activities. Using your experience and skills (further developed with our support and training), you will assist with the care of our children and young people. All our homes adopt therapeutic practise, giving you the opportunity to develop into a specialist care provider. Training also includes reflective practise to consistently improve the way we care for children. You will create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and always safeguarding them. You will create timetables, setting boundaries and expectations for the young people. Consistency and organisation skills are key. You will meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support. What makes us different?
