Cover Supervisor – Secondary School in Dagenham
A highly regarded secondary school in Dagenham is looking for a flexible and reliable Cover Supervisor with a Design & Technology (DT) background to join their team from Easter.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to work both short and long hours as needed.
The Role:
* Supervise and support students in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a focused and productive learning environment.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects, with a particular emphasis on DT.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students stay engaged with their learning.
* Adapt to different year groups and subjects as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
* A background in Design & Technology (DT), either through education or experience.
* Confident, proactive, and able to manage a classroom effectively.
* Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
* Flexible and reliable, ready to step in when required.
