We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Sales & Marketing Executive to help grow our agency, expand our service offerings, and strengthen relationships with existing clients while driving new business.
Role Overview
The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, growing existing client relationships, expanding the breadth of our services, and supporting internal marketing initiatives to drive new business. You will work closely with our creative and project management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and successful project execution. Additionally, you will be responsible for selling advertising and partnership opportunities for STONES Magazine, helping to extend its reach and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Strategy
* Identify and generate new business opportunities for branding, web design, and marketing services.
* Develop and execute outbound sales strategies, including cold outreach, networking, and lead nurturing.
* Expand the scope of services offered to existing clients, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
* Sell advertising space and sponsorship opportunities for STONES Magazine.
* Research and engage potential clients through industry events, LinkedIn, and other channels.
* Collaborate with leadership to refine sales and growth strategies.
1. Supporting Internal Marketing & Lead Generation
* Work with the marketing team to develop and execute internal marketing campaigns aimed at driving new business.
* Support email marketing and social media outreach efforts to engage potential clients.
* Collaborate on content marketing strategies, including blogs, case studies, and thought leadership pieces that position Sanders and Jay as industry experts.
* Help optimise lead nurturing funnels and CRM processes to increase conversion rates.
* Identify new ways to enhance brand awareness and attract inbound leads.
2. Client Relationship Management & Onboarding
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
* Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
* Develop compelling proposals and presentations in collaboration with the creative team.
* Seamlessly onboard new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to the project management team.
* Provide strategic recommendations to clients, positioning Sanders and Jay as an essential creative and marketing partner.
3. Expanding Services & Collaborating with Teams
* Work closely with designers, marketers, and content creators to identify new service opportunities for clients.
* Ensure client expectations are aligned with project scope and deliverables.
* Provide strategic input to the creative team to enhance project outcomes.
* Identify and introduce new services and offerings that align with industry trends and client needs.
4. Market Research & Industry Awareness
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing strategies.
* Identify new market opportunities and potential service offerings.
* Provide insights on improving sales processes and client experience.
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting
* Track and analyse sales metrics, reporting on progress and key insights.
* Measure the effectiveness of internal marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Provide regular updates to leadership on business development activities and revenue goals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. Skills & Experience
* Experience in business development, sales, or account management within a creative agency, marketing firm, or related industry.
* Strong understanding of branding, web design, and digital marketing services.
* Experience in media sales, particularly selling advertising space in publications, is a plus.
* Ability to nurture and expand existing client accounts by introducing new services and solutions.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong ability to craft persuasive proposals and pitches.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Familiarity with CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and lead generation tactics.
