Currie & Brown Italy is looking for a Project Manager focusing on Due Diligence for its HQ in Treviso. The Project Manager will be placed in the business unit dedicated to preparing due diligence and, in general, real estate valuations of various asset types. This role will coordinate and manage all aspects of due diligence for real estate assets, ensuring that all necessary property documentation is collected, reviewed, and assessed to support strategic investment decisions. The role requires project management, communication, and analytical skills to ensure that all due diligence activities are completed on time. This position will report to the Associate responsible for the unit.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, project management or equivalent.
* At least 5 years of experience in managing medium-sized projects (experience in the luxury and hospitality sectors is preferred).
* Experience in managing the permitting process and dealing with local jurisdiction.
* Good knowledge of national and local regulations related to construction and administrative procedures.
* Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills (both internal and external).
* In addition to Italian, excellent written and spoken English required.
* Aptitude for teamwork, reliability and flexibility.
Activities:
* Oversee and manage the due diligence process for all real estate acquisitions, ensuring that all aspects of the analysis are thoroughly examined.
* Collect, review, and evaluate critical property management documents, including lease agreements, property condition reports, ownership documents, environmental assessments, etc.
* Identify and assess potential risks associated with real estate transactions, including legal, environmental, and operational risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
* Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain clear and effective communication between all parties involved.
* Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and external consultants (surveyors, environmental engineers, appraisers, etc.).
* Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports (technical, administrative, ESG, and/or high-level environmental), in coordination with other internal departments, for legal aspects or the preparation of Capex Plans.
