* Provide professional leadership primarily in Offshore Renewable Energy and Energy Transition projects at a senior management level.
* Support the development of Arcadis capability in Offshore Renewables.
* May undertake a Project Management Role in line with Arcadis Project Management Academy competence requirements.
* Take a leadership role with the project team, providing direction and leading by example.
* Manage the delivery of projects to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets.
* Manage all aspects of the client relationship to meet or exceed client expectations.
* Promote both the regional and global culture of the business.
* Provide temporary embedded support to key clients as required.
* Lead by example to promote continual improvement in SHE performance across the business.
* Build relationships with clients to identify and realise business opportunities.
* Engage with and champion the involvement and inclusion of Arcadis Global Design resources.
* Provide technical leadership at a subject level.
* Evaluate technical competence of staff proposed for projects and identify specific training and mentoring needs.
* Take technical line management responsibility for the development and performance management of team members.
* Support recruitment process and are personally involved in the selection process of Principal Engineers and Associate Technical Directors.
* Lead the technical delivery of complex projects ensuring client satisfaction.
* Promote effective and efficient bid management.
* Keep up to date with developments in the industry sector and with technical and legislative developments.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Significant knowledge and track record in an Offshore Renewables Engineering role.
* Ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels.
* Experience of managing business relationships at executive level.
* Strong consulting skills including project management and client relationship management.
* BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* Achieved Chartered or Incorporated Engineer professional status, or equivalent.
