They are looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team and support the Group FD with overseeing all financial aspects of their operations during this exciting period of change and transformation. As Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the financial health of the company. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage day-to-day financial activities, provide strategic insights, and ensure regulatory compliance. We look forward to hearing from you Responsibilities: Support the Group FD with leading and managing daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and policies to enhance financial integrity. Drive month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with accounting standards. Collaborate with leadership to support strategic decision-making by providing actionable financial insights. Ensure regulatory compliance with relevant financial and tax regulations specific to the fintech industry. Lead audit processes, coordinate with external auditors, and prepare necessary documentation. Improve cash management and optimize financial resources. Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices, keeping the company compliant and forward-looking. Provide regular MIs as may be required. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in financial management or a similar role, ideally within the fintech or technology sector. Accounting Qualification with at least 3 years PQE (CIMA/ACCA etc) Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and proficiency in financial management software. Excellent analytical, budgeting, and financial reporting skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working across departments. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent would be a bonus).
