About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy for our meetings and events sales operation, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the General Manager in implementing proactive sales activities, identifying new clients and sales leads for the hotel in line with our overall sales strategy.
* Manage the events office and team, ensuring excellent enquiry handling, driving conversion, and maximising upselling opportunities.
* Implement processes to drive sales and revenue growth, including fostering excellent local relationships to gain new business opportunities.
* Drive and manage event conversion in line with company set KPIs, ensuring overall profitability is met.
* Lead and motivate a highly motivated team, ensuring excellent coordination and exceptional execution of events, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Requirements:
* Current Sales and Events Management experience in a 4/5-star luxury hotel environment or similar environment.
* Driven and able to act on your own initiative where appropriate, with a methodical approach and high organisational skills.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbally and written.
* Able to demonstrate a professional, organised, and friendly approach, anticipating guests' needs and creating memories.
