Roles & Responsibilities
1. Identify, understand, communicate and adhere to contractual obligations with respect to the project schedule.
2. Produce a project schedule which is compliant with contractual and project time, cost, quality and scope requirements.
3. Allocate the costs from the project estimate to the project schedule.
4. Liaise with the Project Manager, Engineering teams and any sub-contractors to gather the information necessary to produce and maintain a realistic and reflective project schedule.
5. Continually monitor project performance, progress and report accurate and measurable project status.
6. Proactively identify and highlight critical schedule areas and risks to enable timely management action.
7. Proactively identify and highlight schedule areas where there are opportunities for improvement, time and cost savings.
8. Identify change/emergent scope and effectively incorporate it into the project schedule.
9. Collate clear and concise reports and presentations.
10. Present project schedule, associated KPIs and narrative to the Project Manager and client.
11. Manage multiple project schedules for multiple contracts.
12. Be aware of the technical implications and interfaces to programme work effectively.
13. Fluency in Primavera P6 and Excel to provide prompt, accurate and regular information.
14. Be fully conversant with Earned Value and the ability to analyse the performance of the project.
15. Develop and communicate resource requirements necessary to meet the demands of the project timescales.
16. Produce project schedules for proposals and tenders.
Experience & Qualifications
1. Previous planning experience.
2. Sufficient and appropriate experience in EICA and Engineering.
3. Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams.
4. Proficiency in MS Project and Excel.
5. Familiarity with NEC3/4 contracts.
6. Relevant HNC/Degree qualification.
7. QCF Diploma Level 3/5 in Planning.
8. APMP Practitioner.
9. Craft training, supported by relevant CPD training.
10. Due to security clearance, candidates must have resided in the UK for 5 years continuously.
