Training Facilitator, 37 hours per week, £25,686.00 FTE
As a qualified trainer or teacher, you would be joining Optalis’ established, supportive, and highly valued Learning and Development Team. Experience of the sector is desirable but not essential.
Our team of 7 provides high quality and service-specific training, ensuring the organisation meets the standards set by Skills for Health and Care, CQC, and other regulatory bodies. We ensure that our workers provide safe care by giving them the skills and knowledge needed to work in a way that provides our customers with the care they need to enable them to live their best lives. You will be delivering training across our services, but your place of work and location of our main training room is in Trinity Court in Wokingham.
As part of the wider HR team, we work closely with our colleagues to ensure we meet the needs of new joiners and existing staff. We also work with the team to respond proactively to any learning needs that are identified through their day-to-day work.
Please note: The interview will take place on Monday the 9th December 2024 at Trinity Court, Wokingham, RG41 2PY. The interview will include a 15-minute microteach to demonstrate your abilities to write and deliver effective training, as well as a formal interview.
We welcome any questions or an informal discussion about the role: Please email shani.houghton@optalis.org
Working for Optalis you will be entitled to the following benefits:

* As a valued and integral member of the team you will have a voice in the service and forums to be heard and make a difference.
* STAR awards - a reward scheme which recognises staff who have gone the extra mile.
* A generous pension scheme.
We are a Mindful Employer and a Disability Confident Employer, which means we are serious about looking after our team members’ mental health and providing support to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions feel supported, engaged, and able to achieve their full potential in the workplace.
Optalis is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our staff and customers. We would like to remind successful applicants that they will be required to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
Closing date for applications is Monday 2nd December 2024. If we receive a large volume of applications, we may close before this date.
