Our Water consultancy client are seeking Project Managers to delivery both clean and wastewater Capital Delivery Projects across the Thames Water region.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of capital delivery projects in the water sector. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and implementation of capital delivery projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and successful project outcomes. Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve goals. Foster a collaborative team environment and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in project management within the water sector, particularly in capital delivery projects. Strong understanding of water infrastructure, regulations, and sustainability practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. APM/PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.Benefits
