My client continues to expand its project management capability and is recruiting to support this growth. They are looking for experienced IT project professionals who have managed and supported program, project and resource managers or teams, have had exposure to IT Infrastructure and Cloud services including VMware, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Services, or Microsoft Azure, and have had customer-facing responsibilities.
Successful candidates will be able to work under pressure and successfully balance routine daily maintenance activities with the need to respond effectively to business, project, and customer demands.
The Role
We are seeking a Technical Project Coordinator who has the drive and focus to support the wider project management, resource management, and delivery management team in delivering excellence of service to customers. This role has an excellent career pathway and would suit a candidate who may have held junior project management roles and wishes to accelerate their career.
Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator, you would be responsible for:
1. Administration of our operations delivery processes within the project and resource management areas.
2. Supporting project managers in the delivery of large and complex technology solutions.
Day to Day Responsibilities
As a project coordinator, you will have responsibility for:
1. Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports for project managers and stakeholders.
2. Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
3. Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
4. Managing project management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule, or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
5. Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as program or portfolio schedule, effort, financial tracking, reporting, and ad-hoc requests by the PMO Manager.
Skills and Experience
Project management certifications:
1. Prince 2 Foundation or Practitioner, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), etc.
2. Working knowledge of project management software.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Attention to detail.
