Purpose of Post:
To deliver lectures for the relevant subjects during term time.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Deliver undergraduate and foundation courses, ensuring students are challenged, supported, and supervised appropriately.
* Utilize innovative teaching and learning techniques.
* Apply appropriate assessment criteria and provide feedback to students.
* Continuously review module content for improvement.
Teaching Responsibilities:
* Write lecture materials and handouts.
* Deliver seminars, workshops, and tutorials.
* Mark student papers.
* Contribute to departmental planning for the academic year.
* Gather student feedback to improve teaching methodologies.
* Provide guidance and advice to students, including career advice and pastoral care.
Teaching Delivery:
* Conventional and/or Online or Blended.
Other General College Duties:
* Work flexibly as part of the College team to ensure smooth operations.
* Participate actively in College-wide activities, including duty rotas and marketing events.
* Engage in training and team development activities.
* Adhere to the College's health and safety policies and contribute to safety priorities.
* Commit to promoting equality and diversity throughout all aspects of work.
* Familiarize with safeguarding requirements and comply with policies to protect vulnerable individuals.
* Undertake additional duties as directed by senior management.
