The eCommerce Developments team are responsible for implementing, testing and building on the UX designs plus the requirements of our partnered brands and the overall content of the website.
The role
You’ll balance technical expertise with a strong understanding of how site performance, user experience, and operational stability directly impact business outcomes. Being highly skilled when it comes to data and line managing, you’ll oversee the delivery of the below from the Onsite Operations Assistants and will be responsible for the strategic planning and vision. What else is involved?
1. Leading a team of Onsite Operation Assistants to deliver the below and optimise the user journey.
2. Monitoring & data analytics of checkout, login, registration and payments against KPIs / goals.
3. Assessment and prioritisation of drop outs providing actionable insights to enhance conversion.
4. Overseeing and driving associated fixes with systems, content and product owners.
5. Monitoring & data analytics of speed and performance across the website, Identify bottlenecks, slow-loading pages, and other performance issues.
6. Work with the development teams, product owners and product managers to prioritise and implement performance optimisation strategies.
7. Act as a key point of contact with the eCommerce Department for P1 issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
8. Analyse the root causes of critical issues and propose tactical and strategic solutions alongside stakeholders.
9. Full reporting visibility available to the board.
10. Develop, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts to ensure the functionality and stability of all our platforms.
11. Regularly update and expand automated test coverage in response to new features or site changes.
12. Management of the sale events across the UK and International platforms.
13. Oversee and manage the delivery of key site changes.
14. Ensure that changes are accurately reflected across all platforms and that they align with business objectives.
15. Monitor the impact of these changes on performance and user experience.
