External Sales Representative Job Description External Sales Representative Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 p.a. Bonus & Benefits Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Who are we? Hydraquip are the UK’s largest independent onsite hose replacement company, offering a 24/7-365 nationwide on-site service. We have been established for over 30 years and have ambitious plans for further growth in the coming years. We opened our NI Branch at Lisburn in 2024 and are planning to open in Dublin later in 2025. To support our growth plans, we are planning to recruit an External Sales Representative to support Business Development for both Branches. A day in the life of an ESR The role of the ESR is to develop and manage a focussed list of accounts, maximising revenue in line with the Annual Operating Plan for the Branches. You will be expected to proactively participate in a positive sales culture working closely with other team members to provide excellent customer service and to maximise sales opportunities and revenue. To achieve this, the below must be consistently delivered - ● Proactive communication with the other members of the HQNI team ● Work with internal staff to quote all enquiries quickly and follow up through a structured process. (All quotes recorded in Intact ERP system for follow up) ● Participate in all Branch related sales activities - local special offers/incentives, engineer lead follow-up. ● At the discretion of the Area Manager, provide mobile engineers with sales support. ● Successfully manage the allocated customer base ● Identify new business prospects for Mobile Hose Replacement, Branch Delivery, Engineering & Trade Counter. ● Support any customer projects where necessary. This may include getting involved in the delivery of such projects. You will also have: • Proven experience in a industrial B2B sales role at management level in a relevant industry. • Knowledge of Hydraulics, Hose & Fittings is preferable but not essential • Demonstrable ability to communicate and influence key stakeholders. • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Sales-i, Salesforce) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel). • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp diligence. • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities; and • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Max 3 points on your driving licence.
