Role Overview
As the Head of Marketing, you will oversee the marketing strategies and operations for multiple brands under the company umbrella, each with its unique positioning, audience, and objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities who can translate business goals into actionable marketing plans. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Leadership:
* Develop and implement overarching marketing strategies aligned with the company's vision and objectives for each brand
* Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, target audience needs, and competitive landscape
* Create detailed marketing plans that address brand positioning, market penetration, and customer retention goals
* Define KPIs for all marketing activities and align them with business goals to track and measure success
* Present marketing strategies, plans, and results to senior stakeholders, providing clear insights and recommendations
Brand Management and Development:
* Establish and maintain distinct brand identities for each brand under the company portfolio
* Ensure consistent messaging, tone of voice, and visual branding across all platforms and materials
* Work closely with designers and content creators to develop brand guidelines and ensure compliance across all teams and campaigns
* Lead rebranding initiatives or updates as required, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication
Campaign Creation and Execution:
* Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, print, and events to achieve measurable objectives
* Use storytelling and creative techniques to differentiate each brand and engage target audiences
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive campaigns that align with sales and operational goals
* Manage and negotiate with external agencies for campaign execution, from creative development to media buying
* Oversee the planning and management of industry events, sponsorships, and partnerships to increase visibility and engagement
Digital Marketing and Online Presence:
* Oversee the performance of websites for all brands, ensuring they are user-friendly, informative, and optimised for lead generation
* Lead SEO and SEM strategies to drive organic and paid traffic growth
* Manage social media accounts for multiple brands, creating platform-specific strategies and content calendars
* Develop innovative content marketing strategies, including blogs, videos, case studies, and newsletters, to establish thought leadership
* Use marketing automation tools to optimise email marketing campaigns and nurture leads through the sales funnel
Lead Generation and Customer Engagement:
* Design and implement initiatives to increase inquiries and generate qualified leads for each brand
* Monitor the customer journey across touchpoints to identify opportunities for improvement
* Work with customer service and sales teams to ensure marketing efforts align with the customer experience
* Conduct surveys and feedback initiatives to gain insights into customer preferences and satisfaction
Analytics and Reporting:
* Use advanced analytics tools to monitor the performance of campaigns and overall brand health
* Analyse data to uncover insights about customer behaviour, campaign effectiveness, and ROI
* Regularly report on metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, traffic, and engagement to identify areas for improvement
* Make data-driven recommendations to optimise marketing spend and efforts
Team Management and Collaboration:
* Build, lead, mentor, and develop a small marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
* Conduct regular performance reviews and identify professional development opportunities for team members
* Work closely with other departments, such as sales, operations, and senior leaders, to align goals and strategies
* Build strong relationships with external partners, such as PR firms, advertising agencies, and freelancers
Qualifications and Experience
* A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent qualification) is essential
* At least 5+ years of experience in a marketing management role, preferably in the healthcare, service, or multi-brand sectors
* Proven track record of successfully managing and growing multiple brands
* Demonstrable experience in planning and executing digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and social media
* Expertise in creating and managing marketing budgets with a focus on ROI
* Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
* Proficiency in using analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) and marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Adobe Suite)
