Procurement Manager
Department: Ops Support
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Description
About the Role
We're looking for a Procurement Manager with a wide experience of Goods and Services Procurement to join our growing Butlin's Team.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, ideally managing the Facilities Management and IT categories of Butlin's business. However, we would be keen to speak to anyone who feels their background aligns with the skills we are looking for but has worked across other procurement categories.
Playing a pivotal role in EBITDA contribution, you will work closely with leaders from across the business to drive category sourcing strategies, maximising commercial value and delivering the right Goods and Services for Butlin's. You will manage the sourcing process, from full market approaches to renewals. You will continue to drive SRM thinking into our contracts and ongoing approaches to manage risk and drive innovation and value.
Your sourcing strategies will continue to support our Procurement priorities including identifying our Preferred Suppliers and optimising the number of suppliers and SKUs we currently have.
With a keen eye for continuous improvement, you will also be accountable for identifying and executing new opportunities within our supply base.
About You
We're looking for an experienced Procurement Manager that has good knowledge across a broad range of categories.
Strong knowledge of Category Management and developing category strategies is essential. Working within a relatively small team, you will also be dealing with tactical decision making and will need to be comfortable managing multiple projects across different topics at once.
You'll have a great awareness of how to develop and track SLAs and KPIs that support our busy Resort operation.
Communication is key in this role, and you should therefore be a strong communicator and negotiator, with the ability to develop great working relationships with both internal leaders and external suppliers. You should also have strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data and build reports to share with stakeholders where necessary.
