Demonstrate the skills to professionally communicate complex information to users and carers in an empathic and supportive way. Provide clinical and professional advice, leadership and support to a multidisciplinary staff group, patients and their families. Attend formal meetings i.e. safeguarding, governance on behalf of the Clinical Nurse Manager when required. Understands and appreciate need to adapt when there are barriers to Communication. Take account of cultural issues in communication with everyone, including work colleagues. Understand what translation and advocacy services are available and follow correct procedures. Ensures records of self and junior colleagues are up to date, accurate and consistent with Trust policy. Establish and maintain accurate, complete and up to date care plans in Line with Trust policies and procedures. Effectively use Trust electronic tools and IT systems. Competent to implement strategies which facilitate adherence to treatment.
