About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our dynamic team starting in January 2024. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a love for languages and culture among students, with a focus on either French, Spanish, or German. The position is open to both experienced teachers and NQTs/ECTs who have a flair for creative teaching and a desire to make a real impact on students' learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
* Teach French, Spanish, or German to students across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
* Foster an inclusive, supportive, and motivating classroom environment.
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure academic growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum and contribute to extracurricular language activities.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school events as required.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
* Experience teaching French, Spanish, or German at secondary level (KS3-KS5).
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and fostering an engaging learning environment.
Desirable:
* Ability to teach a second language.
* Experience with extra-curricular activities related to MFL (e.g., language clubs, exchange programs).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
