Job Details
The Shared Service Centre provides specialist business support that drives delivery of payroll, recruitment, ordering, invoicing, IT front-line and HR enquiry services. You will gain a working knowledge of Oracle Cloud, First Contact/Assyst, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
You will be based within the Transactions Payroll Team and you will:
* Create and maintain employee records on Oracle Cloud (New Starts, Additional Assignments, Transfers, Contract changes, and Leavers)
* Deal with various Payroll enquiries (leave calculations, statutory sick/maternity pay, overpayments of salary and payslip advice)
* Extract system data to complete Information Requests
* Adhere to strict payroll deadlines
The Person
Essential qualifications for this post are SVQF Level 5 (4 qualifications at Intermediate 2 or above) or equivalent in a Business/Customer Service subject.
You should have experience of working in an office using current computer-based applications. Good communication skills and confidentiality awareness are essential.
Key skills required include accurate numeracy, attention to detail, time management, ability to interpret policy and procedures, interpersonal and organisational skills.
You should be able to work as part of a team or independently as required.
