Job Title: Asbestos Removal Supervisor
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Salary / Benefits: 120 - 180 Day rate + Benefits
Our client is an industry leading provider of Asbestos Removal services in the North West region and due to continued growth and success they are now seeking to take on an experienced and knowledgeable Asbestos Removal Supervisor. Our client is looking for someone who has experience overseeing and managing licensed and non-licensed projects on a mixed portfolio of sites, including but not limited to Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Residential and Public Sector sites. You will also be required to oversee and manage our client's longstanding team of operatives, carrying out training when required, as well as providing them with the correct RAMS, PPE, and equipment to safely complete work in line with agreed timeframes.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Extensive hands-on experience working within an Asbestos Removals firm, working hands-on as an Asbestos Removal Supervisor.
2. Holding the ARCA Supervisor ticket is beneficial to the role.
3. Excellent technical knowledge of removals procedures.
4. Must be personable and professional with colleagues and clients of all levels.
5. Extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
6. Excellent IT skills, able to produce comprehensive reports and site-specific RAMS.
The Role:
1. Overseeing & managing licensed and non-licensed removal projects on various Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Residential and Public Sector sites.
2. Working closely with clients, confirming work to be carried out.
3. Assigning operatives to sites in line with company and client needs.
4. Organising PPE and relevant equipment for operatives to carry out work safely.
5. Producing site specific RAMS, ensuring to amend correctly when required.
6. Liaising with internal Contract Managers to ensure smooth day-to-day running of projects.
7. Carrying out training with new and existing operatives.
8. Passing HSE audits, ensuring work is being carried out in line with correct Health and Safety guidelines.
9. Being first point of contact for clients, providing technical support & advice alongside ensuring that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
