* This role is responsible for business development activity across all markets aligned to the Hexagon Geosystems industry strategy
* This role will be responsible for driving the adoption of Hexagon Geosystems solutions into the market, through direct customer engagement, industry specific activity, and supporting market relevant exhibitions and events
* The candidate will continue our growth into existing and new market sectors, developing relationship at all levels
* To be successful in this role, you will be required to proactively plan and conduct in person interactions with our customer base, to develop strong longstanding relationships, positioning Hexagon Geosystems as a trusted technology partner
* Through their field-based activity, this candidate will gather market intelligence and identify new opportunities for growth
* Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to new and existing customers, either on a 1-1 or 1 - many basis
* The role will actively promote new technology adoption within the market. It is also expected to increase the sales revenue by introducing initiatives. e.g., framework agreements
* This role is expected to identify customer needs and communicate the value of our solutions, then working with technical specialist to demonstrate the solutions available
* The candidate will be required to engage with industry bodies and to deliver thought leadership talks and presentations at market relevant events and exhibitions
* A significant level of sales pipeline and activity management is required to ensure that all sales leads are followed through to conclusion, all within SFDC, Keep up to date with products, competitor's activity, and general market conditions
* Provide reliable and accurate feedback to senior management on general market conditions
* Always maintain internal communication and understand roles within the wider context of the organisation
* Attend industry and company specific conferences and events
* Disciplined use of SFDC and other administrative requirements
* Always adhere to all statutory regulations and company policies and values
* Ability to work across the regional area at least 4 days per week
Strong communication skills with the ability to build and manage relationships
* A broad understanding of the markets where Hexagon are engaged
* A working knowledge of most of the solutions applicable to this role
* Managing a significant level of sales pipeline and activity management to ensure that all sales leads are followed through to conclusion, all within SFDC
* Delivering regular reports on business activity, market analysis, competitor activity, and relevant technology to all required stakeholders
* Promoting the company's products/services addressing or predicting customers objectives
* Actively promote new products and developments to existing and new customers
* Provide market feedback and development ideas internally, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions.
