Dandy Marketing are a rapidly growing Digital Marketing Agency that are redefining the meaning of a “transparent” agency. In line with our continued growth, we’re now looking for a talented content assistant to join our remotely working team.
If hired, you’ll be expected to deliver a range of content for our clients.
This role would suit an individual with digital prowess and ideally content management experience. Our ideal candidate is a creative digital marketing professional, preferably with a copywriting background.
Ultimately, you should be able to expand our client’s digital footprint and brand awareness. As our content assistant you will play a fundamental role in developing and delivering upon our client’s content marketing strategy.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be reporting directly to the Content Manager and play a vital role in the overall growth of the agency, and driving results for our clients.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Support the production of content calendars across a range of clients and industries.
* Increase organic traffic through content marketing and SEO activities that are well planned and executed.
* Writing optimised and engaging on-site content, both for blogs and key landing pages.
* Working to demanding deadlines to ensure content delivery for both on-site content and link building content.
* Creating varied content across a wide range of industries.
* Provide support with content audits & analysis to determine recommendations which will improve content and overall website performance.
* Producing content for Dandy Marketing blog and Social Media.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
The perfect candidate will have:
* An ability to self-motivate whilst working remotely
* An ability to curate and write content across a huge variety of industries.
* An understanding of client requirements and an ability to learn and understand their business.
* Great copywriting skills.
* Strong research skills.
* An ability to come up with original ideas.
* Editorial requirements include good SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
* Experience with Content Management systems such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace etc
* Excellent communication skills via digital and telephony channels with the rest of the team.
IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
* Previous in-house, agency or remote work experience.
* Experience with the Gmail suite (gmail, gdrive etc)
* Experience with ASANA project management tool.
* Hands on experience using Ahrefs, BuzzSumo and other SEO tools
* Understanding of web publishing requirements
Salary: £25,000-£27,000 p.a.
