Consult Construct are a young dynamic firm of Surveyors and Project Managers providing a range of professional construction services. We are based in a country setting just outside Faversham.
We are an ambitious business with plans for further growth and we are looking for an enthusiastic, down to earth friendly person to join our team.

You will be assisting the team, in a variety of secretarial, administrative and general duties to support the smooth running of the office. You will report to the Office Manger and work alongside our senior administrator.
This is a full-time position, working 100% in the office. Consult Construct want to promote effective communication and provide consistency to our team and suppliers in having a contact in-house that is present 5 days a week so it is important that the Administration Assistant is 100% office based.Person Specification
* We are looking for a motivated, friendly person ideally with experience within the construction sector.
* They must be confident and personable to meet and greet visitors.
* This will be a busy role requiring a friendly, flexible team player with a 'can do’ attitude.
* Must have access to a car, due to office location.
* Ideal applicants will be educated to GCSE standard with excellent English language and grammar skills.
* Someone who can work effectively as a part of the team.
* Must be well organised with excellent communication skills.
* Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload using own initiative.
* Be able to pay close attention to detail.
* Must be able to present the finished article confidently.
Duties
* Assist with preparation of templates and standard letters
* Be able to upload business social media postings on our website, linkedin, twitter and instragram
* Manage and oversee the shared surveying equipment to know where each asset is at all times
* Typing - including audio typing
* Opening new project files (electronically)
* Photocopying and binding
* Electronic filing and archiving
* Arrange appointments, meetings and inspections
* Deal with any incoming and outgoing post
* Answer the telephone, take messages, communicate the enquiries
* Maintain office and refreshment supplies and re-order as required
* General ad hoc duties to provide support to the team
* Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes is essential
* Manage printers, stock and office stationery ordering
* Email and diary management.
