About the Role
As Senior Data Privacy Advisor, you’ll be a subject matter expert with responsibility for providing advice on Data Protection, privacy and on associated legislation and the practical application to ASOS. Topics you will be dealing with include electronic marketing, cookies and advertising, compliance with data sharing best practice, de-identification, data minimisation, data protection contract clauses and data transfer mechanisms (including Model clauses/SCCs) and everything in between.
As an expert in this field you will need to be versatile, with experience in guiding and partnering with a wide variety of stakeholders from across ASOS’ business and at all levels of seniority. The role also involves providing day-to-day assistance to the junior members of the team.

Communication is key, as our team members continually build relationships at all levels across the business. To win your stakeholders over, you’ll need to speak their language and move as quickly as them. You will need the ability to make quick, confident decisions, always in the ASOS tone of voice, and you’ll be given the tools, guidance, and support to help with those decisions when you need it.
