We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Vet Surgeon to lead the team at a successful small animal practice in the City of Edinburgh area Scotland We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Vet Surgeon to lead the team at a successful small animal practice in the City of Edinburgh area of Scotland. excellent full time opportunity working 4 days a week with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota and no Sundays, no OOH. practice is recently refurbished with state-of-the-art equipment and advanced facilities including; laparoscopic surgery, orthopaedic equipment, VetSEAL, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, in-house laboratory etc. diverse caseload and many loyal, long-standing clients. exciting opportunity for a Head Vet looking for a new challenge or an experienced or senior Vet to progress into leadership role requires strong clinical skills and ability to lead mentor and manage a team. interest or certification in surgery is preferred, it is not essential. join a supportive, experienced 9 Vet team including certificate holders in surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and internal medicine CPD funding and paid professional memberships. super location to enjoy city life of Edinburgh with easy transport links near to motorway and walk to train with direct trains to central Edinburgh in 20 mins. Person Requirements Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent Registered with the RCVS experienced Vet with strong clinical skills existing Head Vet or experienced/ senior Vet to progress into leadership able to lead, mentor and manage a team. certification in surgery is preferred, it is not essential.
