Your job in a nutshell:
As our Internal Audit Manager, you will play a key role in assessing risks, reviewing internal controls, and providing insights to improve business processes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and co-source partners to deliver high-quality internal audit reviews and help strengthen governance. This role is part of the Atos Business Transformation Services (BTS) Internal Audit Team providing internal audit services to Atos clients in the Financial Services – Pensions and Insurance Sector. The role will primarily support two existing clients.
What will you be doing:
* Delivering, and overseeing the process of delivering, Internal Audit Reviews – from planning, drafting and agreeing Terms of References, developing test plans and conducting fieldwork, preparing Potential Issues logs, holding close out calls with key business stakeholders and drafting and agreeing Audit Reports;
* Leading the audit action recording and tracking process, including evidence verification and corresponding monthly reporting;
* Preparation of papers for governance meetings;
* Supporting the Senior Internal Audit Manager with:
* developing and maintaining the annual audit universe;
* operational audit planning and resourcing activities;
* coordinating with our co-source partner to support their delivery of Internal Audit reviews.
* Building relationships and maintaining regular dialogue with key partners;
* Maintaining knowledge of wider financial services risks, issues and challenges.
Requirements:
* Experienced Internal Auditor/Risk & Controls Professional
* Knowledge of the 3 Lines model
* Financial services experience is essential, Pensions or Insurance experience is an advantage but not required
* Experience in internal audit, risk management, or governance Qualified or part-qualified CIA / ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
* Comfortable leading audits, engaging with senior stakeholders, and providing strategic recommendations
* Adaptable and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities in a growing team
* Broad knowledge of auditing and industry standards
* Commercial awareness and sensitive stakeholder management
* Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external Senior Management
* Logical thinking and objective presentation of opinions/conclusions
* Excellent written and oral communication (English) and presentation skills
