We are looking to recruit a Clerical Officer, responsible for undertaking the full range of administrative and secretarial support, as required, with a professional and customer focus in our Registered service.
The post holder is expected to work flexibly but will undertake a range of tasks suitable to their location, as delegated by the Registered Manager. It is likely that the post holder will provide specialist support in particular areas of work, but will be expected to perform a wide range of functions as the needs of the organisation dictate. The post holder will carry out their work in line with the agreed corporate processes and policies.
This role is Band I as per our structure.
The post holder will communicate with a range of internal and external customers. A professional, efficient, flexible and helpful approach is required to providing support, information and the ‘first point of contact’ for internal and external customers, including families, commissioners and regulators. The post holder is expected to have sound administrative and organisational skills.
This role holder will be required to provide a high quality, continuous professional service across the Service to a range of customers who have varying demands and priorities. The post holder will need to take a flexible approach to the tasks they are presented with and be able to prioritise workload (guided by the Registered Manager) according to demands, the strategic direction and the needs of the organisation. This role will need to develop good internal relationships to ensure that they fully understand the needs of their customers.
