Contract summary: Contract length: Two positions one is permanent and one offers casual shifts. Working weeks: The permanent contract is all year round. Working hours: The permanent contract is part time, 24 hours per week on a shift rota working early, late and evening shifts including weekends. Salary: £13.67 ph, which would be equal to £28,514 if the role were full time, all year round. The role: Operations Assistants are the front line in our customer service experience at the Schools Sports They perform a variety of duties; including front of house reception, lifeguarding, equipment placement, customer bookings and cleaning duties. The skills: You will be flexible to work throughout the Sports Centre as required to assist in the day-to-day operation of this dual-purpose facility, being a cheerful and supportive member of the team. You will pride yourself on your excellent customer service skills, being helpful and courteous at all times. Health, safety and hygiene will be important to you as you remain vigilant to ensure that the Sports Centre meets the exacting standards that our customers expect. The ability to swim is essential and a current National Pool Lifeguard qualification is desirable but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate. Harrow School Enterprises Limited (HSEL) is the trading arm of Harrow School, charged with running suitable and profitable activities for the benefit of the School. HSEL is responsible for the operation of Harrow School Sports Centre and includes a state-of-the-art performance and fitness centre, 25 metre pool and 4 court sports hall. HSEL is also responsible for the hire of all external sports facilities including cricket pitches, astro turfs and athletic tracks.
