Reward Hours of Work 37.5 hours per week paid (9am 5pm, Monday to Friday) 6 month assignment £12.64p/h Accrued holiday pay Free parking Statutory pension Job Role: Creating of purchase orders for raw materials Dealing with suppliers and negotiating prices Utilising SAP/MRP to manage inventory levels of raw materials and packaging Establishing and maintaining a good relationship with all suppliers Actively working with all internal stakeholders Working with stakeholders to minimise devaluated materials, reserved materials and eventual needs to write-off materials Working with the key stakeholders, including planning, production, product management and logistics Do periodic follow up of all open claims / complaints Performing all the purchasing activities in compliance with the Integrated Management System Respecting the principles set out in the Internal Policies and all Procedures and Work Instructions established Skills and experience: Experience of working on SAP or a similar database Previous experience in a similar role Experience working with a supplier base Good computer skills (Excel, Word) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to organise workload, determine priorities and establish and monitor deadlines Work with minimum supervision Decisions directly impact customer service and company revenue Please Note: We do not contact or write to unsuccessful candidates.
