My client are looking for an Energy Consultant to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the building industry and help clients reduce their energy consumption. Role Overview: As a Energy Consultant, you will be at the forefront of helping clients optimize energy use and improve the sustainability of their buildings. Your expertise will guide clients in enhancing energy efficiency and integrating renewable energy solutions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive energy audits and assessments of building systems. Analyze HVAC, lighting, and insulation to identify energy-saving opportunities. Develop energy models and simulations to assess potential savings. Collaborate with clients to create customized energy efficiency plans. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations in energy efficiency. Provide technical expertise on renewable energy integration and sustainability measures. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings. Oversee the implementation and evaluation of energy-saving measures. Manage projects from start to finish, including budgeting and scheduling. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s is a plus). Certified Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) L3 and L4; L5 certification is desirable. Minimum 3 years of experience in building energy consulting or similar roles. Core Skills: Proficiency in energy modelling software such as Design Builder or IES. Strong knowledge of building services technology, sustainability frameworks (SECR, ESOS, NABERS, BREEAM, etc.), and renewable energy technologies.
