Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care and companionship to dogs during their walks. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy being outdoors and have a strong sense of responsibility towards animal welfare.
Duties
1. Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
2. Provide exercise, companionship, and mental stimulation for the dogs during walks.
3. Monitor the behaviour and health of each dog, reporting any concerns to the owner.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment by picking up after the dogs during walks.
5. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behaviour and needs.
6. Handle any heavy lifting required for transporting dog supplies or equipment as needed.
7. Provide basic animal care, including feeding or administering medication if necessary.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in veterinary care or animal handling is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with pet owners.
3. Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, particularly when managing larger breeds or carrying supplies.
4. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to keep pet owners informed about their pets' activities.
6. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate varying client needs, including weekends or holidays if necessary.

Pay: £11.44-£15.00 per hour
