The Role:
As a Manufacturing Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in analysing, monitoring, and optimising the financial performance of the company's manufacturing processes. Working closely with operational teams, you will provide insights and reporting to support decision-making and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reports and management accounts, including variance analysis.
* Collaborate with production and operations teams to monitor cost performance and recommend improvements.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, specifically focusing on manufacturing operations.
* Analyse manufacturing costs, including material, labor, and overhead, to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
* Participate in inventory management and conduct periodic audits.
* Support senior management with ad-hoc financial projects and reporting.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Part-qualified or qualified(CIMA/ACCA/ACA) accountant.
* Previous finance or management accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with both finance and operational teams.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of standard costing and variance analysis is highly desirable.
