Mechanical Service Engineer
Package up to £45k
Permanent
Our client is a Yorkshire based manufacturer of fan and smoke extraction systems, ranging from car park ventilation systems to smoke control and tunnel ventilation.
With a nationwide reputation, they have a service division that performs PPM around the UK for their own systems as well as their competitors.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they require a mechanical field service engineer to join their team.
The Role
As the mechanical field service engineer, you will be required to travel around the UK to visit customers. This will be planned and you may be away a few nights a month.
This is a great role for a mechanical fitter who has experience in air movement, air conditioning, bearings, belts, or motors. Experience in fan balancing will be an added advantage.
You will spend much of your time at the head office, working alongside other areas of the design and manufacturing teams, dealing with both internal and external customers. For this customer service side of the role, you will need to be able to communicate at all levels.
You should have a flexible approach to work. If you have experience with fan extraction or smoke extraction, it's a bonus, but you will be trained for several months on their bespoke equipment.
What will you get...
The right candidate will be rewarded with a salary of up to £37k and a healthy benefits package. You will have a vehicle, mobile, laptop, and a corporate credit card for expenses. Additionally, you will receive a tax-free overnight allowance of £50, as well as many other benefits such as a bonus scheme, pension contributions, and flexible working. The vehicle provided will be fully funded with personal use.
For more detailed information, please apply. If you have the skills required, we'll speak in detail about the role.
This vacancy is being advertised by AMF Recruitment Ltd, a specialist recruitment business supporting the manufacturing industry.
