An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hotel Receptionist to join our Team. The successful applicant will assist in creating a positive impression when meeting and greeting guests, ensuring excellent customer service at all times so that guests feel welcome and relaxed when visiting the resort.
About The Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. To accurately complete all reception and booking documentation and operate the hotel computer systems competently.
2. To ensure that phones are answered in a friendly manner.
3. To deal with all calls efficiently.
4. To maintain full up to date knowledge of the resort services and products including spa, hotel events and facilities.
5. To take reservations and enter bookings on the system.
6. To deal with all guests and visitors to the Resort in a welcoming and professional manner.
7. To maintain hotel procedures and fire policies.
8. To follow procedures for cashing up and banking.
9. To maintain, develop and monitor the client database.
10. To ensure Reception area and desk are clean and tidy at all times.
11. To maximise selling opportunities by adding customer value at every opportunity.
12. Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times.
13. Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department specific procedures.
14. Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures at all times.
15. Receive customer complaints and feedback and direct them to appropriate offices for resolution.

* In-depth knowledge of spa products and procedures and their effects.
