An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications Executive to join a leading law firm. This role is perfect for a creative and detail-oriented professional with a passion for writing, media engagement, and social media strategy. Working as part of the Marketing & Business Development team, you will play a key role in shaping both external and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft and distribute well-crafted press releases to key legal and trade publications.
* Identify media opportunities and manage press coverage.
* Maintain and update media distribution lists.
* Monitor media coverage and provide insights to enhance strategy.
* Create engaging, high-quality social media content to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
* Research industry trends to drive innovative content ideas.
* Support lawyers in building their personal brand through LinkedIn.
* Measure the impact of social media initiatives and provide recommendations for growth.
* Write and distribute engaging intranet content, firm news, and employee success stories.
* Develop internal communication campaigns, including CSR events and key firm initiatives.
* Coordinate partner-led internal webinars and ensure effective audience engagement.
* Maintain a comprehensive communications calendar.
* Support content distribution across third-party platforms.
* Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
* 2+ years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing within a law firm or professional services environment.
* Strong copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Experience managing corporate LinkedIn content and social media strategy.
* Confident working with senior stakeholders and partners.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
* A degree (2:1 or above) is preferred.
