Introduction to the role
Field Service Engineer to join a Service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the team to service and repair a variety of equipment at customer sites, including Fork Lifts, Warehouse Equipment and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms.
Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs on a range of materials handling and ancillary equipment. Carrying out fault diagnosis to identify reported breakdowns and identifying the parts and repairs to complete the work.
2. Providing a professional, efficient service to the customers, maintaining & repairing the equipment to the highest standard whilst observing Health and Safety regulations at all times.
3. Building customer relationships.
Experience:
1. Relevant technical qualification (Desirable not essential).
2. Previous experience within a similar role working on ideally Forklifts or Plant equipment as a minimum: cars, vans, HGV or Agricultural machines.
3. Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles.
4. The ability to work independently and under pressure.
5. Time management skills.
6. Understanding customer needs.
7. Full Drivers Licence.
