More about your role
As a Maintenance Technician you will utilise your knowledge and experience working as part of the Response Repairs and Void team assisting the team to carry out high quality work.
Your time will be spent assisting the carpenters, joiners, roofers and plumbers with basic tiling, plastering, woodwork (boxing in of pipes etc) basic brickwork, and plumbing in our tenanted properties as well as working within our void homes.
You will get a new power tool kit, vehicle, Apple iPad and phone as we know it's more than just being a Maintenance Technician.
You will work independently, knowing how to speak with people and organise the work activity are key strengths. This role will be varied from working in empty homes, upgrading homes or dealing with our customers responsive repairs in their homes we offer variety.
Although this role is advertised in a specific location, you will be working in surrounding areas.
The working hours are 40 per week across Monday to Friday. We often have overtime opportunities as well as many other benefits for staff who want to learn or do more.

Experience in basic plastering
Previous tiling experience

More about you
You will be an experienced and competent tradesperson that is known for your high-quality work. You will also have strong basic joinery skills. A driving licence is essential
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maintenance
Multi-skilled or specific trade with a working knowledge of other trades including joinery and plumbing would be desirable
Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation
As part of our employment checks, this role will require you to complete a satisfactory Basic DBS check
