Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be working with our Belfast City Centre Client who are a Global Insurance Company, currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing the customer`s motor claims journey.
2. Negotiate Motor Insurance Claims - fleet haulage and marine transport.
3. Provide excellent customer service experience and manage complex claims.
4. Provide input and advice to clients on claims progress, manage expectations and support needs.
5. Escalate claims to Account Executives or Senior Management in accordance with referral triggers.
6. Set up first advice and manage subsequent interactions with clients and insurers.
7. Assist with the audit of client`s claims statistics and provision of summary reports and analysis.
8. Meet the agreed standards of service, volumes and performance levels, in line with KPIs.
9. Manage the full claims process, from first notification to final settlement.
10. Ensure all information is captured and inputted onto internal systems.
11. Work with Motor / Third Party Property Damage Claims.
Criteria:
1. Proven experience within motor claims.
2. Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
3. Preferred to have CII Qualification or working towards it (not essential).
4. Competent in Microsoft Office.
Salary will depend on background and experience. After training, there is an option for hybrid working - one day per week from home.
