My client is the biggest utility contractor within the UK turning over £850M, specialising in gas, water, electric, fibre and power. They are a tier one main contractor but they also subcontract utility packages on large contracts. The reputation of my client is brilliant; they are known for completing work on time and to a great standard, and because of this, they have landed some big contracts with HS2, Thames Water, Anglian Water, UKPN, and Southern Water.
About the opportunity
You will be responsible for managing costs across multiple projects, ensuring each is profitable. The projects you will be involved in will be working on NEC contracts within waste water and clean water, with all the works being high volume, low cost work.

About the requirements:
You are required to have a good standard of education, preferably to Foundation Degree level (HND, HNC or equivalent qualification) in either Construction, Civils, Commercial Management, or Quantity Surveying.
To be considered for this position, you should have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within Civil Engineering for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 company. Your work history should be stable; ideally, you should have worked at your previous companies for a number of years.
The role is a permanent position. No freelancers can be considered.
A UK driving license is mandatory for this role.
