Our client is a rapidly growing and innovative business that delivers specialist chemical and physical testing services for a wide range of clients within the Pharma, Food & Beverage, and Cosmetics industries, amongst others. Due to growth, they are now looking to hire a Technical Sales Representative to join their friendly and supportive team.
Responsibilities:
1. Developing and nurturing sales for the business, targeting a range of specialist markets within the scientific and industrial sectors.
2. Prospecting relevant companies and approaching them in an enthusiastic and knowledgeable manner, helping them to understand the benefits of the services offered.
3. Engaging in technical conversations with key decision makers and articulating specialist services in a manageable way for your audience.
4. Traveling overseas to exhibitions and conferences.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A scientific degree, ideally in Physics or Chemical Engineering.
2. Relevant sales experience within the scientific industry, ideally within testing services.
3. Experience of selling into Pharma, Food & Beverage, Industrial, or Cosmetics industries.
4. Driven to hit and exceed targets with an ability to increase sales and drive growth for the business.
5. A valid driver’s licence and own transport.
