Job Summary
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for executing marketing and communication strategies that enhance the visibility, engagement, and participation in Lockleaze Sports Centre's offerings.
Part time, 3 days per week (24 hours)
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaigns
* Responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns to promote events, activities, and data capture.
* Coordinate social media campaigns across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
* Develop and distribute engaging content, including newsletters, press releases, flyers, and digital assets.
Content Creation & Brand Identity
* Create and manage content for the Centre's website, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines.
* Produce all digital assets and promotional materials, such as posters, brochures, and banners.
* Capture and edit photos and videos from events for marketing purposes.
* Ensure all copy is proofread
Community Engagement & Partnerships
* Engage with site users, including home teams and community groups, to promote the Centre’s offerings.
* Negotiate and manage sponsorship opportunities for Centre activities and events.
* Communicate effectively with key stakeholders associated with target teams and partners.
* Develop the LSC trust brand promoting the charitable status of the Centre, demonstrating the impact of our and partner’s work.
Data Analysis
* Monitor and report on marketing campaign effectiveness using tools like Google Analytics.
* Gather community feedback to inform future marketing strategies.
* Utilise data capture software to enhance marketing audience reach.
Administrative Support
* Maintain a marketing calendar to track promotional activities and deadlines.
* Manage marketing budgets and invoices.
* Coordinate internal communications to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
* Regularly update website content to maintain relevance and accuracy.
* Utilise SEO and Google Ads to improve website performance and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations.
General Duties & Operations
In addition to core responsibilities, all staff are expected to perform general operational duties as assigned by the General Manager.
