Field Service Engineer - Generators and Compressors - Teesside
Monday to Friday
Time: 8.00 – 5pm, 42.5 hours per week plus overtime

Covering multiple sites across a geographical patch, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our generators ranging from 20 – 1400 kva, and a number of these machines are fitted with telematics and are fully syncable using Comap or Depp sea panels.
Responsibilities:
1. Travel to our customer sites and carry out planned service maintenance and repair of compressors and generators ranging from 20 – 1400 kva
2. Fault-finding, replacing parts, effecting repairs, and diagnosing mechanical failures
3. Liaise with external departments and customers
4. Service, fault find, and carry out breakdown repairs
5. Comply with companies Health and Safety policy

What you’ll need:
1. Full driving licence
2. Good knowledge of diesel engines
3. Mechanically you will be experienced in fault-finding, replacing parts, effecting repairs, and diagnosing mechanical failures
4. Experience of maintaining and repairing the same or similar types of equipment
5. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
6. Strong communication skills both verbal and written
7. Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team
8. Flexible approach to hours as there is consistent overtime
9. Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
