Therapy Admin and Clerical Officer - Perinatal Pelvic Health Service
The Perinatal Pelvic Health Service administrator role is a new and exciting post, within the Women's Health Physiotherapy service. The post-holder will be required to take an active part in helping to run, monitor and evaluate the service. This will include data input, analysis and statistical collection across all three outpatient sites, such as referrals received, patients seen, DNA and UTA rates, waiting lists, etc. The role also involves providing effective and efficient administrative and reception support for the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) and the wider Therapy Department.
Main duties of the job
* Providing an effective and efficient reception service to patients and visitors within the Women's Health Physiotherapy team.
* Data input, analysis, and statistical collection across all three outpatient sites for the PPHS.
* Assisting in the day-to-day running of the department, including answering the phone, rearranging appointments, ordering equipment, managing stock levels, issuing and cleaning equipment, and performing administrative tasks such as photocopying and sending out letters to patients.
* Registering referrals and booking patient appointments for the Women's Health Physiotherapy Team across all 3 sites, acting as a patient-facing point of contact.
* Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, being confident and outgoing, and thriving in a busy, sometimes stressful environment.
Person Specification
Education, Qualifications & Training
* Level 3 GCSEs (grade C or above, or equivalent) including English.
* RSA I / II or equivalent typing/keyboard qualification.
* Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* European Computer Drivers Licence (or equivalent).
Experience
* Experience in accepting and undertaking responsibility for designated tasks.
* Secretarial/reception experience and dealing with face-to-face patients or customers.
* Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software for data analysis.
* At least 6 months of experience in a customer care (face-to-face) environment.
* Experience using the Careflow system.

Salary: £24,071 to £25,674 per annum pro rata, dependent on experience.
