Job Purpose:
To drive new business for Synexa’s core lines of business with a focus on LC-MS/MS. This role involves identifying and targeting new customers and driving repeat business from the existing customer base. Requires collaboration with proposals, contracts, inside sales, scientific strategies, and operations to prospect, drive leads to opportunities, and then through the sales process to contract negotiation and project initiation. Target driven based on net new business (NNB) awards.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop a territory or line of business plan to drive sales growth.
2. Understand Synexa’s value proposition and market position to enable highly targeted market outreach.
3. Identify and target prospective customers within territory or across territories for a specific service line.
4. Understand customer needs and propose appropriate Synexa solutions.
5. Working with proposals and scientific strategies develop profitable quotes and sales proposals which differentiate Synexa and improve our prospect of winning.
6. Log leads, opportunities, and activities in CRM to allow the business to accurately forecast NNB.
7. Represent Synexa at industry events to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
8. Understand the market and customer needs to identify new/innovative areas for business growth.
9. Need to be target driven, combined with strong technical/scientific understanding.
10. The position requires a detailed oriented approach and the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Requires clinical/lab knowledge with experience in LC-MS/MS. (Essential)
2. A strong customer contact list and connections in the field. (Essential)
3. Requires at least a bachelor's degree in the area of specialty and >5 years' experience in LC-MS/MS sales or other similar commercial roles. (Desirable)
