Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester Required for Main Dealership Oxford * Salary: Up to £45,000 Package * Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM * Weekends OFFOur client, a reputable car dealership located in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Permanent Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities: * Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles. * Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations. * Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions effectively. * Maintain accurate records of all work performed and communicate findings to the service team and customers. * Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends. * Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and dealership policies.Skills & Experience Required: * Proven experience as a vehicle technician or similar role, preferably in a dealership environment. * Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and components. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent. * Valid driver's license.Full vacancy details for this Technician role are available to registered candidates.
