We are seeking a dedicated Premises Manager to join our vibrant primary school in Southwark. This full-time, long-term role is set to begin after the half term in early February and will continue for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for a longer-term position.

Daily Rate: £127.22

Team: Managing a team of 5, including a caretaker, premises assistants, and cleanersRole Responsibilities:
As Premises Manager, you will:
Oversee the maintenance, security, and overall presentation of the school premises.
Lead and manage a team of 5 staff, ensuring the school environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
Liaise with senior school leaders to ensure premises-related priorities align with the school's needs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, completing necessary risk assessments and maintenance schedules.
Manage contractors and suppliers for routine maintenance and larger projects.
Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards across the site.Requirements:
Proven management experience, ideally in a similar role.
Experience working in a school environment, with an understanding of its unique requirements and operations.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures.
