Mould Repair Technician
Location: Belliver Way, Roborough, Plymouth PL6 7BP

Main Responsibilities / Requirements:
1. Use time and in-house facilities efficiently to repair and maintain injection moulding tools.
2. Provide engineering support for production activities.
3. Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures and safe working practices.
4. Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the toolroom and other work areas.
5. Align with Safety Lockout and work warning systems.
6. Respond to emergencies by working overtime when required.
7. Keep records of spare parts to ensure they are restocked and cost-effective.
8. Shift: 3 on 3 off (7am - 7pm)
9. Salary: £28,500 + 20% shift allowance.
10. Level 3 - in a relevant topic
11. Mechanical or Electrical Technician work experience
12. Operator experience is not strong enough
13. Moulding or tool making experience is a big advantage
About You:
14. Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent in maintenance engineering.
15. Resourceful problem solver with good knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects, adept at repairing and modifying parts to optimise functionality.
16. Experience in hot runner injection moulding is beneficial.
17. Confident using Microsoft Office programs and other IT systems.
18. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mentality.
